# Om Cloth Mills archive recovery

Date of recovery: 2026-08-02 (Asia/Kolkata)

## Verdict

The historical website is recoverable as a strong HTML/content/platform skeleton, but not as a complete visual clone from public archives alone.

Recovered directly:

- 9 successful Wayback homepage HTML captures from 2024-09-12 through 2025-03-15.
- 3 semantically unique homepage states after removing generated WooCommerce quantity IDs and request tokens.
- WordPress page structure, menus, route references, product names, prices, JSON-LD dates, plugin/theme fingerprints, and the Elementor page IDs.
- 3 archive replay screenshots. They are evidence renders, not faithful visual reconstructions, because the original CSS and image binaries were not captured with the HTML.
- A publicly indexed 20-page Om Cloth Mills catalogue PDF, plus its extracted text and selected visual checks.
- Four external Astra/Brandstore service icons and the YouTube hero-video thumbnail referenced by the recovered HTML.
- A related-host history: `ocmfabtex.com` has a 2022 legacy catalog and a 2024 WordPress homepage using the same Elementor page `4387`, kit `2887`, Astra `4.5.2`, B2B plugin `1.4.2`, and product/media naming family.
- A unified 16-path modern product catalog, 61 category-route references, 103 modern route references, 8 legacy encrypted category routes, and 2,519 raw historical link/media references.

Not recovered from public archives:

- No successful Wayback binary captures for the domain's referenced WordPress uploads, theme/plugin files, CSS, JS, or linked internal pages were found in the queried CDX inventory.
- No WordPress database, media library originals, Elementor templates, theme ZIP, plugin ZIP, or product export is present in the public recovery.
- No separate body capture was found for the referenced product or category pages, including the eight encrypted legacy catalog routes.
- The recovered system-route inventory records the exposed sitemap, robots, feed, REST, oEmbed, XML-RPC, WooCommerce utility, product-base, and category-base endpoints; these remain route references rather than recovered endpoint responses.
- A continuity dossier now separates strong operational/migration evidence from unproven legal ownership, and a search-indexed product evidence note records one richer product-page snapshot that was visible to search but could not be downloaded from the failed live origin.
- A full-date Wayback sweep across both hosts and their variants produced 92 overlapping CDX rows, 46 distinct timestamp+URL captures, and 24 unique archived originals; 44 non-empty replay bodies are now preserved with status/digest/error metadata.
- The current domain does not resolve to an A record in this environment, and Chrome returns `ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED`; the historical site cannot be verified as live today.

This is therefore ready for a source-grounded reconstruction phase, not yet ready to be described as a pixel-perfect restoration.

## Domain identity and continuity warning

RDAP reports a current `omclothmills.com` registration event of 2026-02-23T14:13:46Z at GoDaddy, with Cloudflare nameservers. The Wayback HTML is from 2024-2025, and its JSON-LD says the page was originally published in 2017. This proves that the domain name has historical content, but does not by itself prove that the current registration is the same registrant, hosting account, or business website. Treat the archived content as historical evidence until the owner confirms continuity.

## Archive inventory

The successful canonical homepage captures are:

| Canonical state | Captures collapsed into it | Archive replay | Recovery result |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| September 2024 | 20240912151042, 20240912203209 | [20240912151042](https://web.archive.org/web/20240912151042id_/https://omclothmills.com/) | Full HTML; 8 distinct product titles repeated in Featured/New Arrivals blocks |
| November 2024 | 20241113190234, 20241113190256, 20241113190325, 20241113190357, 20241113190410 | [20241113190234](https://web.archive.org/web/20241113190234id_/https://omclothmills.com/) | Full HTML; 8 distinct product titles repeated in Featured/New Arrivals blocks |
| March 2025 | 20250315185521, 20250315185522 | [20250315185521](https://web.archive.org/web/20250315185521id_/https://omclothmills.com/) | Full HTML; 8 distinct product titles repeated in Featured/New Arrivals blocks |

The host-variant CDX query contains 18 records: 9 successful canonical HTML responses and 9 redirect records across HTTP/HTTPS and `www` variants. The redirect records replay into the canonical homepage states and do not add a separate page version. The raw CDX responses are preserved under `manifests/`.

The related host `ocmfabtex.com` has a separate archive history: a 2021 redirect, a 2022 legacy catalog homepage, a 2024 WordPress homepage, and redirect/404 records for `robots.txt` and related variants. Its domain-level CDX inventory contains 9 records, but no separately captured product/category bodies or domain-hosted media binaries.

The `omclothmills.com` domain-level query also exposed logged-out infrastructure surfaces: cPanel, webmail, autodiscover, webdisk, and related service subdomains. Their public logged-out HTML is preserved under `hosting-captures/`; no authentication data was collected.

## Recovered platform fingerprint

The site was WordPress with the Astra theme, Elementor page builder, and WooCommerce. The historical HTML exposes the following exact versions:

| Layer | September 2024 | November 2024 | March 2025 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Astra | 4.5.2 | 4.5.2 | 4.5.2 |
| Elementor | 3.23.4 | 3.24.7 | 3.25.11 |
| WooCommerce | 8.5.2 | 8.5.2 | 9.5.1 |
| All in One SEO | 4.5.5 | 4.5.5 | 4.7.6 |
| WooCommerce B2B Sales Agents | 1.4.2 | 1.4.2 | 1.4.2 |

Other detected components include Essential Addons for Elementor Lite, Header Footer Elementor, Variation Swatches for Woo, Woo Min/Max Quantity Step Control, WPForms Lite, and a quantity-field plugin. The homepage is Elementor page `4387` using Elementor kit `2887`. Its hero references YouTube video `A8hHjAxDhzk`.

The 2022 `ocmfabtex.com` page is materially different: it uses `.aspx` routes, `WebResource.axd`, `admin/login.aspx`, `catalog/view/theme/theme372`, and a `Powered By Webmitra` footer. Its visible taxonomy is Bandhej Dupatta, Cotton Dupatta, Indo Dupatta, Najmin Dupatta, Rayon Dupatta, Tapeta Dupatta, Gamcha, and Scarf with PRINTED and TYE DYE subroutes. This is evidence of an earlier legacy catalog layer, not a WordPress page.

The page also references four stock/demo service icons from the Astra Brandstore demo domain. Those four icons were downloaded into `related-collateral/`; they are external dependencies, not recovered Om Cloth Mills uploads.

## Historical content changes

- September state: TAPETA BOBBY, VEER 2, NEHA, KALPANA, and SPECIAL RASMALAI product cards are visible; the HTML advertises sale prices such as ₹95, ₹38, ₹30, ₹60, and ₹72.
- November state: the homepage shifts to COTTON SAFAL, RC GAMCHHA RADHEY RADHEY, MAHI LATKAN, ROCKEY 3 MULTI SAMOSA, VEER 2, KALPANA, SPECIAL RASMALAI, and INDO BANJARA; sale prices include ₹150, ₹53, ₹90, ₹90, ₹38, ₹60, ₹72, and ₹90.
- March state: the homepage shifts again to PC DUPATTA DISCO, SEMI COTTON NAYAK BLACK, SEMI COTTON SANIYA, COTTON SAFAL, RC GAMCHHA, MAHI LATKAN, KALPANA, and SPECIAL RASMALAI; the captured sale prices include ₹90, ₹90, ₹150, ₹53, ₹90, ₹60, and ₹72. The first PC product has no displayed price in the recovered homepage card.

The September page JSON-LD reports `dateModified` 2024-02-01, while the November and March pages report `dateModified` 2024-11-12. The HTML JSON-LD reports `datePublished` 2017-12-17 on the homepage. These are source claims embedded in the old page, not independently verified creation dates.

Across the 2024 `ocmfabtex.com` state and the three `omclothmills.com` states, the deduplicated modern product catalog contains 16 unique product paths. The full title, category, image-source, host, capture, and price history is in `expanded-manifests/historical-product-catalog.csv`; repeated Featured/New Arrivals cards have been collapsed.

## Asset and dependency boundary

The recovered Om Cloth Mills HTML references 367 unique absolute URLs across its captures, including 340 internal-domain URLs and 27 external URLs. The expanded cross-domain pass records 2,519 unique historical references across the 2022 legacy and 2024-2025 WordPress states. Its media manifest records 179 image/media references, including legacy ASP.NET paths, WordPress `srcset` variants, product derivatives, logo candidates, external demo icons, and the hero-video thumbnail.

The Wayback query `omclothmills.com/*` returned only the 9 canonical homepage HTML records. It returned no successful archived subpage or binary asset records for this domain. The referenced image URLs are therefore preserved as an inventory for future recovery, not represented as recovered originals.

The 2022 legacy homepage contributes 8 encrypted category URLs whose `a=` parameters are preserved exactly. The 2024 WordPress predecessor contributes 28 category routes and 8 distinct product routes; the later `omclothmills.com` states contribute the newer category tree and the remaining product routes. The complete route and media inventories are in `expanded-manifests/`.

## Adjacent collateral recovered

Search indexing exposed a 20-page PDF titled `OCM DUPATTA COLLECTION PDF`. Its metadata identifies the author as `OM CLOTH MILL`, the creator as Canva, and a creation date of 2025-01-21. It contains brand copy, product categories, phone/email/contact claims, collection descriptions, rates, dimensions, logos, and product photography. It is kept separate from the Wayback domain evidence because it was hosted on an external image/CDN domain.

The package also includes the referenced YouTube thumbnail and the four external service icons. They are useful reconstruction inputs, but their inclusion does not prove that the original WordPress media library contained the same binary files.

The catalogue PDF has 20 indexed pages. Its page index records Laces, Indo, Gamcha, Cotton, Semi Cotton, PC, Rasal/Rasmalai, Nisha, Rayon 70/100/120 GM, Nazmeen, scarves, Lotus, Net, and Lycra collections with the rates and dimensions printed in the source.

## Recommended next recovery gate

Before rebuilding the site, obtain one of the following owner-controlled sources: the former cPanel/hosting backup, a WordPress export plus `wp-content/uploads`, the Elementor templates export, or the original media folder/WhatsApp catalogue source. That is the missing proof needed to recover the product photography, logo variants, CSS/theme behavior, and exact page composition without inventing assets.
